DIY tall planter

I made this planter about 6 months ago and never posted it. I'm a little too late because DSC featured the same idea.  Great minds think alike! I found these pots at the dollar tree and bought them without a plan. While I had them just stacked there waiting for some love I thought hmmm they would look pretty good stacked.

I flipped one upside down and glued the other one on top with hot glue. I transplanted a succulent (that's a fancy word for "its ok if you forget to water it") into it and I'm done!

Don't forget to check out my ETSY, MadeInTheAli. I will be posting "hair goodies" this weekend!

Etsy Now Open!!

My Etsy, Made in the Ali,
is now UP and RUNNING! I'm so excited!

I have my fold-up tote bags for sale. Go check them out. They are only $5! What a deal :)

"Favorite" my store and check back because I will be putting up more things soon!

Reusable Grocery Bags.. That you will actually REMEMBER to bring with you!

This is what I've been working on lately. Its a reusable grocery bag that you can roll up and tie and toss in your purse or glovebox. Then when you get to the front of the line you have your bag right there in your purse. I'm going be selling my stuff at a craft boutique in September so I will be selling these there and on my (soon to be) Esty.

Here is the bag opened (about 16"x16")
This is the bag rolled up
I think they are so cute. I can't wait to show you all how the different fabrics turned out.
I went to a discount fabric store near my house and found some awesome deals. Here is all of the fabric I got.

Then I also got a few yards of some canvas-y/burlap type fabric for the back. One side will be pattern and the other will be a brown or tan canvas.

Button and Rosette Rings

My mom has had this jar of buttons on top of the washer ever since I can remember. Every time she would find a button in the washer she would toss it in there. Ive seen some button rings around Blogland for a while so I thought I would give them a try. I made like 50 of them! Here's some of the rings I came up with:

Love them!! Now do I wear them all? Or save them to sell on etsy or the craft boutique?
